I am Irene Mezzazapo, singer, singing teacher and vocal researcher.
My work is based on the integration of the PROEL Method (elastic proprioceptive) in teaching.

Who

Irene Mezzacapo is a vocal researcher, singing teacher, and singer with twenty years of experience. She works both in Italy and abroad, and her expertise enables her to train professional and semi-professional singers, actors, and singing teachers.

Among the many qualifications is that of University Expert of the Proel Method, obtained at the Universidad Internacional Menendez Pelayo of Santander (Spain).

She leads workshops on the Proel Method applied to the artistic voice in Italy and abroad and becomes the artistic Proel point of reference in Italy.

She’s a member of the ProElastic Voice international Research and Dissemination team led by Dr. Alfonso Borragán, with whom she carries out research projects related to neuroscience, virtual reality, the interaction between voice and sexuality.

She collaborates continuously with Dr. Alfonso Borragan and with Dr. Dario Strangis in the courses for singers, speech therapists and singing teachers “Singing from another perspective” divided into 3 levels.

She participates as a speaker at national and international conferences such as the International Course of Phoniatría and Speech Therapy La Voce Artistica of Ravenna, the Proel Voice Circus of Santander (Spain), the Voice Symposium of the Voice Foundation of Philadelphia (USA).
